Radiation Protection

MAKOBATIST COVERALL

(BROWN)

The Makobatist coverall is made of 100% makobatist cotton and is intended for use in contaminated areas of nuclear power plants or other similar activities, to ensure the protection of personnel. Makobatist coveralls are reusable.

MARK IIIB PLASTIC SUIT

The plastic suit is intended for use in contaminated areas of nuclear power plants or in other open source activities or radioactive materials with a risk of contamination (liquids, powders, solids, etc.) to ensure the protection of personnel operating in these areas.
When the plastic suit is used with the Tyvek hood, it becomes a very efficient protection ssytem against radioactive particles, radioactive iodine and tritium.
The plastic suit is worn over normal work equipment.
The plastic suit is used with the Tyvek hood, safety helmet, combined air supply and communication system, and latex gloves that attach to the suit using the rings from the wristbands of the suit.

AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM

SED “RAM’S HORN” model

The Ram’s Horn air supply system is intended for use with the tyvek hood or single-use coveralls in radiologically controlled areas.

The hose is intended for use by personnel wearing plastic suits, with the Ram’s Horn breathing system or air-supplied half-masks, in radiological areas. The hose connects to clean air sources in radiological areas.

FLAME-RETARDANT COVERALL FOR MARK III B PLASTIC SUIT

The flame retardant coverall can be used in nuclear power plants with the overshoes that come with it, to protect the Mark IIIB plastic suit in welding activities. The flame retardant overall is reusable.

ProTech Light Blue COVERALL FOR PROTECTION AGAINST EXTERNAL CONTAMINATION AND HEAVY WATER SPRAYING OF THE MARK IIIB PLASTIC SUIT

The ProTech Light Blue coverall is used in nuclear power plants to protect the Mark IIIB plastic suit in wet areas or for activities where there is a risk of heavy water spraying.
The ProTech Light Blue coverall is reusable.
In the radiological area, the ProTech Light Blue coverall is worn over the Mark IIIB plastic suit, along with the overshoes that come with it.

TYVEK COVERALL

The Tyvek coverall is made of high density pure polyethylene and is used for radioactive contamination, in various maintenance or monitoring activities in nuclear installations. This is a disposable product. In the radiological area, the Tyvek coverall is worn over the Makobatist coveralls.

TYVEK HOOD FOR PLASTIC SUIT

The Tyvek hood is intended for use in contaminated areas of nuclear power plants or other similar activities to ensure the protection of personnel operating in those areas. The hood is used with the plastic suit and the Ram’s Horn air supply system.
The hood completely covers the head and the upper part of the chest and is made of a single piece with a polycarbonate visor. The visor has a U-shaped window at the bottom that can be closed or opened with a transparent adhesive tape.
The Tyvek hood is worn over the plastic suit and the protective helmet that is fastened by the 3 clamps with which the hood is provided.

PROTECTIVE HALF-MASK WITH TRITIUM CARTRIDGES

model MSA Advantage 420

The MSA Advantage 420 protective half-masks, when is being used with the appropriate filters (connected directly or through the adapter), provides a respiratory protection system against radioactive particles, gases and vapors. The Advantage 420 is designed to be used with two filters.

RUBBER GLOVES

model MAPA VITAL 124

MAPA VITAL 124 protective rubber gloves are used as radiation protection equipment, providing protection against chemicals, microorganisms and radioactive contamination.

They are made of yellow natural latex, treated on the outside with silicone and lined on the inside with cotton.

RUBBER GLOVES FOR PLASTIC SUIT

model MAPA ALTO 405

This product is intended to protect against radioactive contamination; the contaminant may be in solid, liquid or gaseous form.

The gloves are waterproof, being made of natural rubber, mixed with neoprene, which gives them the following structure:

– The inner layer of rubber is covered with a cotton lining.

– The outer surface is treated with silicone, thus being non-slip in the area of the fingers and palm.

TEXTILE OVERSHOES

model PUNTA

PUNTA textile overshoes can be used in controlled areas of nuclear power plants to protect the feet from radioactive contamination and must be worn over protective footwear.

Both the material from which the sole is made and the material from which the upper part is made have the property of self-extinguishing and do not contain chlorine, thus being able to be incinerated. It also provides good protection on wet surfaces due to the non-slip sole.

PROTECTIVE FOOTWEAR

The protective footwear, model Safe2Walk S3 can be used in controlled areas, as protective equipment against radioactive contamination and it was designed to protect against injury caused by impact with heavy or sharp objects.

The material of the sole reduces the risk of slipping and is antistatic. Each shoe has a label on the inside that contains information on the degree of protection and size.
